BrickHop privacy policy

Last updated 17 June 2026

BrickHop is a Chrome extension that opens the LEGO website in your preferred country and language. It runs in your browser.

What BrickHop stores

BrickHop saves four settings using your browser's built-in local extension storage: your country and language, whether Auto redirect is on, the light or dark theme, and how long the redirect notification stays on screen. These are kept on your device.

Permissions, and why BrickHop needs them

Storage
Keeps the settings above on your device.
Tabs and web navigation
Let BrickHop check a tab's address to tell whether it is a LEGO page, so it can redirect you and offer its panel there. It acts on LEGO links only, and it never reads the contents of the pages you visit. The addresses are used in your browser; they are not logged or stored.
Side panel
Enables the optional Compare view, for switching stores by hand.
Access to lego.com, lego.me, lego.tr, and lego.com.br
Lets BrickHop read and change the country-and-language part of a LEGO URL. For Turkey and Brazil, which run separate LEGO stores, it requests LEGO's own search page to find the matching product. These requests go only to LEGO.

What BrickHop does not do

BrickHop does not collect personal data. It has no tracking, fingerprinting, analytics, or advertising, and it does not sell or share your data with anyone. Its permissions are used only to redirect LEGO links to your store.
